FCN Student of the Week: Nora Coy

Second grader is passionate about learning!

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A Greensburg Elementary student has been our named FCN Student of the Week!
Nora Coy is a second grader who is passionate about learning and is very creative!
Coy actually started a “Class Newspaper” where she interviews classmates, takes pictures and writes stories in her free time to keep peers up to date with current class happenings!
“She also started a detective business within our classroom eager to solve any puzzling mysteries,” said her teacher, Erin Buening.
Coy is also often seen with a novel in her hands has been known to read multiple books at once!
Her teacher added that Nora also has a really big interest in history and geography.
“She makes connections daily to what we are learning about in class to real world events that she has experienced or read about,” said her teacher, Erin Buening.
Nora is also very busy outside of class as she is involved in gymnastics, swim, tennis, softball, basketball, and history club
Her creativity, love for learning, kind heart, and enthusiasm make her a joy to have in class,” Buening added.
