Fiat Classical Academy hosts second annual gala

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) — Fiat Classical Academy in Lawrenceburg hosted their second annual “Let There Be Light” Gala on Saturday, April 11. 

Nearly 400 guests were in attendance at the Lawrenceburg Event Center to be immersed in the Catholic culture of the school and hear about Fiat’s second year in operation. 

Attendees rallied together to provide over $232,000, which included a $44,500 matching gift by generous partners, as Fiat prepares to grow their faculty/enrollment, expand school resources, and graduate their first senior class in 2027.

The event commenced with prayer and opening comments from Fr. John Hollowell. 

“School leaders, parents, a student, and a benefactor of the school provided testimony to the impact and needs of the school. The keynote speaker, Dr. Ryan Hanning, spoke about the hope that classical Catholic education is instilling across our nation,” said teacher Ben Kleier. 

Fiat Classical Academy is a Catholic, classical high school that was opened in August of 2024, the bicentennial of Catholicism in Dearborn County.

As an accredited high school, Indiana families receive the Choice Scholarship (voucher). Fiat is also now offering ample financial aid and assisting with arranging family carpools.
