Firefighters in Franklin Co. continue training during burn ban

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – More than 50 firefighters in Franklin County participated in a training in Brookville on Saturday. 

It was hosted by the Brookville Fire Department and it welcomed volunteer firefighters from across the county. 

Those who attended also received a lunch catered by Skyline Chili in Brookville.

The training included fires in controlled areas so the firefighters could improve their skills during specific scenarios. 

Right now, Franklin County and Dearborn County remain under a Burn Ban due to dry conditions.
