Flood Watch in effect with more rain on the way

(HOMER, Ind.) – The heavy rains have led to flooding on some local roadways.

More rain is moving into the area this evening as a Flood Watch is in effect for the majority of the area until 1 p.m. Thursday.

Forecasters say 1 or 2 inches of rainfall is possible through Thursday morning. 

“With much of the area saturated from rainfall over the past day, this additional rain may quickly result in flooding,” the National Weather Service said.
