(CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind.) – Former East Central standout football player Sam Ringer has entered the transfer portal as a graduate transfer.
Ringer has played linebacker and special teams for Wabash College for the past three years.
He has appeared in 28 games and has had 117 tackles and one interception.
Ringer broke a conference record when he had a 100-yard fumble return in September 2024.
“Wabash gave me brothers for life and memories I’ll carry forever. Looking forward to connecting with coaches and exploring new opportunities,” Ringer said.
As a Trojan, he went viral in 2021 when he had an incredible kickoff return. Watch that video here.
Sam is also the brother current Miami (OH) football player Josh Ringer who won Indiana Mr. Football in 2023 at East Central.
