Former intern named Grants Manager for RCCF

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Batesville grad has been named the new Grants Manager for the Ripley County Community Foundation.

Brady Westerfeld previously served as an intern with RCCF and was recognized for his strong work ethic, passion for service, and commitment to improving the quality of life in Ripley County.

“Returning to the Community Foundation feels like coming home,” shared Westerfeld. “During my internship, I saw firsthand how thoughtful philanthropy can transform lives, and I’m honored to now play a larger role in that impact.”

He graduated from IU with a degree in sports marketing and business last year.

In his role as Grants Manager, Brady will work closely with nonprofit organizations and donors across Ripley County to support impactful initiatives, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that charitable resources are invested in ways that create lasting change.

“I’m excited to work alongside local nonprofits and learn from the dedicated leaders who are making Ripley County stronger every day,” Westerfeld said. “There is so much passion in this community, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that helps bring good ideas to life.”

RCCF said his journey from intern to Grants Manager shows his dedication and potential. The move also strengthens the foundation’s commitment to local philanthropy and community impact.

“He brings a thoughtful approach, a willingness to learn, and an energy that strengthens our entire organization. We are excited to invest in his growth as a professional while he helps advance our mission of building a stronger Ripley County,” said RCCF executive director Amy Streator.
