(SEYMOUR, Ind.) – A former Jackson County deputy is accused of using a Flock camera for improper reasons.
Indiana State Police investigators say 31-year-old Skylar Thompson made unauthorized searches of the same registration plate number over 2,000 times.
Thompson allegedly used the Flock system to track the location of his girlfriend between December and August.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Indiana State Police after an internal audit was conducted.
He has been charged with Official Misconduct and Fraud. Thompson is no longer employed with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
