Four South Dearborn 8th graders lay wreath at Tomb of Unknown Soldier

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Four South Dearborn Middle School students had an opportunity to participate in one of the nation’s most solemn traditions.
South Dearborn 8th graders are returning today from their class trip to Washington, D.C. and one of the places they visited was Arlington National Cemetery.
The group went to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Thursday where four eighth graders were given the chance to lay a wreath during a ceremony.
The students are AvaLee Kuntz, Brody Lagaly, Colton McBroom and Gabriella Gonzalez.
Those four eighth graders are part of the school’s Lighthouse Team and were given the opportunity following a student vote.
