Limit of 2 trees per household

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Decatur County residents have the opportunity to receive native trees on Monday, April 14.
The City of Greensburg is partnering with State Representative Jennifer Meltzer and the Indiana DNR to distribute the trees.
It will take place at Greensburg City Hall beginning at 8 a.m. and lasting until 4 p.m. or when the trees are gone.
There will be an hour-long break for lunch at noon.
These trees are available on a first come, first serve basis and are free of charge with a limit 2 per household.
“This collaboration is a powerful example of what we can accomplish when state and local leaders work together to invest in our environment. Planting native trees not only strengthens our local ecosystem, but also reinforces Greensburg’s well-earned nickname, ‘the Tree City.’ I’m grateful to Rep. Meltzer and the DNR for their commitment and generous support in helping our community grow—literally and sustainably," said Greensburg Mayor Joshua Marsh.
