A vigil was held Friday. Watch here:
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Prayers and donations continue to pour in for a Lawrenceburg High School student following a prayer vigil this weekend.
Kate Buescher was seriously hurt in a golf cart accident in Hidden Valley on March 9.
She was flown to the hospital and is currently at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Lawrenceburg students, staff members and community members gathered for a prayer vigil at the high school on Friday night.
Buescher is a Lawrenceburg soccer player and an avid skier. Her friends say her best quality is the big heart that she has for others.
"She's always lifting people up, if they're sad, she is always the first one there to lift them up and make them happy," said freshman Aubree White.
A Go Fund Me fundraiser has been created and funds will be used for the unexpected medical costs the family is dealing with. You can donate by clicking here.
The family added that they appreciate any donation given but are also accepting as many prayers as possible as well.
