Fundraiser for Milan baby born at 28 weeks in NICU

(MILAN, Ind.) – A fundraiser has been launched for a Milan family who has a newborn baby in the NICU. 

Carter Hutchinson was delivered by C-section at 28 weeks, weighing just over 2 pounds on October 14. 

“Despite his early arrival, Carter is showing incredible strength in the NICU, but he has a long road ahead before he can come home,” fundraiser organizers said. 

His parents, Cameron and Carlie, are facing large medical bills and travel expenses as he remains hospitalized for the foreseeable future.
