She was killed after going to wrong house in Whitestown

(WHITESTOWN, Ind.) – The local Hispanic community is rallying behind an Indiana family after a tragic death on Wednesday.
Maria Florinda Rios Perez was part of a house cleaning crew and she mistakenly went to the wrong address in Whitestown.
She was shot-and-killed by the homeowner who mistook her for a burglar.
Perez was the mother of four children that range in age from 1-years-old to 17-years-old.
Maria was described as someone who brought kindness, humility and strength to her family and friends.
A Go Fund Me has been launched for Maria and you can visit it here.
