Greensburg Elementary prepares for state archery tournament

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Some local archers are preparing for the NASP State Archery Tournament this weekend. 

Greensburg Elementary is one of just 25 elementary schools from across Indiana to qualify. 

The team features 22 archers with the majority being fourth-graders who just picked up a bow this year. 

Archery has been credited with improving focus in the classrooms while also helping students develop new friendships. 

The state archery tournament will be held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday.
