Greensburg grad joins Batesville Police Department

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A Greensburg native has been sworn in as the newest Batesville Police Department officer.
Shane Trepanier joins the department with seven years of law enforcement experience.
He worked six years for the North Vernon Police Department and one year with the sheriff’s office.
Trepanier has specialized in areas such as K-9 Handler, Special Weapons and Tactics and Honor Guard.
The Greensburg grad was sworn into the Batesville Police Department on Monday.
“If you see Shane around town, don’t hesitate to stop by and say hi. He welcomes the chance to get to know the great citizens of our community,” the department stated.
