Greensburg senior earns Scouting honor

(GREENBURG, Ind.) – A Greensburg senior has been selected as an Order of the Arrow Section Secretary.

Order of the Arrow is Scouting’s National Honor Society and recognizes scouts who are exemplary. 

Elliott Holman is an Eagle Scout from Troop 541 in Vernon. He is a Vigil Honor member and Founder’s Honor recipient. 

Holman is currency serving his second term as Vice Chief of Program in Nischa Chuppecat Lodge. 

He was recently selected as Section Secretary for Eastern Region Section E1, which covers six lodges in Indiana. One of his responsibilities is to manage Communications for the team.

As Secretary, Elliott’s goals are to build stronger communication across the section, bring new ideas to get others excited, promote events and start a Section E1 Roundtable. 

The Greensburg senior plans to attend Northern Michigan University and major in Native American Studies with a minor in Communication.
