Greensburg woman killed after bicycle struck by vehicle

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A young Greensburg woman was killed Thursday after a crash involving her bicycle and a vehicle.
20-year-old Nyssa Campos was riding the bicycle on a walking trail around 10:40 a.m. and attempted to cross the intersection of Montgomery Road and Fleetwood Drive.
Greensburg Police say Campos was beginning to cross the roadway when she was struck by a commercial vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
The driver of the vehicle was later located and identified as 37-year-old Johnathan Hayden, of Indianapolis.
Investigators say Hayden has been cooperating with the investigation.
The Greensburg Police Department was assisted by the Indiana State Police Crash Reconstruction Team, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, Decatur County Communications, Greensburg Fire Department, Decatur County EMS, Decatur County Coroners Office and TDS Wrecker Service.
