(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – High school students are encouraged to submit their artwork for a congressional competition.
Congresswoman Erin Houchin (R- Distinct 9) is accepting submissions for the 2026 Congressional Art Competition.
The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.
The exhibit in Washington will feature winning pieces from participating districts across the country.
“The Ninth District is home to many talented student artists, and this competition is a wonderful opportunity to showcase their work on a national stage," said Rep. Erin Houchin.
The deadline for submissions is Thursday, April 16 and further instructions can be found here.
In 2024, the wildlife photography of Carson Hughes won the competition and was displayed in the U.S. Capitol
