Hillforest House to host 170th Jubilee on September 13

(AURORA, Ind.) – The Hillforest Victorian House Museum in Aurora is inviting the public for a special anniversary. 

The Hillforest is turning 170 this year and there will be a community jubilee on September 13. 

The event will include music, bourbon-tasting bar, wine bar, games and more. Tickets cost $50 for members and $55 for non-members.

Built in 1855 by the famed architect Isaiah Rogers, Hillforest is a stunning example of Italianate Victorian design and once served as the opulent home of Thomas and Sarah Gaff, one of Indiana’s most influential families

The 170th Jubilee is not only a celebration of Hillforest’s remarkable history but also a chance to support the ongoing preservation of this National Historic Landmark.
