(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Greensburg Junior High Gymnasium has a storied history.
It previously served as the high school gym and was the site of the 1961 sectional when a blizzard forced 200 people to spend the night.
The gym also served as a shelter during the 1937 floods and was the place to go to get war rations during World War II or the polio vaccine in the 1950’s and 1960’s.
The historic gym is turning 100-years-old in 2025. History In The 812 host John Pratt discusses the history of the building.
