(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Decatur County United Fund is receiving a $100,000 donation from Honda.
The funds are going toward DCUF’s “Caring for Our Community” campaign which will support 16 nonprofits that provide programs that address critical barriers in Decatur County.
“These organizations address issues such as health & dental services, transportation, child abuse, recovery & substance abuse services, domestic violence services, early education programs, mentoring, and much more. This work helps to move individuals to self-sufficiency and positive change with measurable impact,” said DCUF executive director Joane Cunningham.
The $100,000 contribution will make a significant impact on the campaign’s $595,000 goal.
“We are deeply grateful for this support from Honda. This donation is a testament to their commitment to the 2026 Campaign. It will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals for the community,” she added.
DCUF has been in operation since 1957 with the mission of improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable in the county.
