(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Honda Manufacturing of Indiana is helping North Decatur Elementary kindergartners learn how to ride bikes.
Honda is providing the All Kids Bike program, a nonprofit that began in 2018 with the mission of giving every child in America the opportunity to learn how to ride a bike in school.
The company will also provide teacher training and certification, complete learn-to-ride curriculum, a fleet of 24 Strider balance-to-pedal bikes, pedal conversion kits, student helmets, a teacher instruction bike, and rolling storage racks.
“This is everything needed to teach kids how to ride a bike in 8 lessons,” organizers said.
North Decatur Elementary School was selected because it is located where Honda employees live and work.
A ceremony will be held with Honda officials at North Decatur Elementary on March 7.
