Hospital Foundation of Decatur County raises $19K during golf fundraiser

(NEW POINT, Ind.) –  The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County raised nearly $20,000 during a recent golf tournament that helps patients and families. 

Event ‘Fore’ Caring is an annual fundraiser that helps fund projects, equipment, and initiatives that enhance patient care and improve access at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. 

The fundraiser was held at North Branch Golf Course and led to $19,353 being raised. 

"We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and supporters who stuck with us through the date change and helped make Event ‘Fore’ Caring such a great day. We truly appreciate everyone’s flexibility and continued support. Their generosity makes a real difference and helps ensure our patients continue to have access to exceptional care close to home,” said foundation director Mandy Lohrum.
