(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County welcomed more than 400 people for their Annual Gala on Friday, May 1.
The support of the attendees and sponsors led the foundation to raising $143,000 during the event.
Those proceeds benefit local patients and families served by Decatur County Memorial Hospital, including innovative technology, patient-centered programs, and services that enhance the overall care experience.
“Seeing our community come together in such an incredible way at this year’s Gala was truly inspiring,” said Mandy Lohrum, Director of the Hospital Foundation. “The generosity, energy, and support shown throughout the evening will have a lasting impact on Decatur County Memorial Hospital and the patients we serve every day.”
The event serves as the Hospital Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser and guests enjoyed exceptional cuisine, entertainment, and both silent and live auctions.
Throughout the evening, guests were also encouraged to support initiatives that expand access to preventive care and screenings, helping individuals take proactive steps toward better health.
“The successful fundraising at the Gala is a strong reminder of what’s possible when a community shows up for one another, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success,” Lohrum added.
