How to contact The 812 with a news story

This is The 812’s Steven Harmeyer and I love receiving story submissions! 

I always enjoy hearing from organizations and people who reach out, whether it is a feel-good story, breaking news, a press release or anything else. 

If you want to submit a story, the best bet is to email news@812.com  – or– email seindiananews@gmail.com 

Either one of those emails come directly to me, and I usually always respond in one form or another. 

I am writing this to help clarify the best way to reach The 812. I receive stories all sorts of ways, from Facebook messages, Instagram messages, personal accounts, text messages, website submissions and more. It can be hard to keep up with!

You can still reach out through one of those outlets, but the most effective way is email by far.

Additionally, two ways I do not see stories, or suggestions, is by commenting on a post or tagging The 812 on Facebook. There is a chance I may see it but its more than likely I will not.
