Husband, wife killed in S.R. 350 crash; kids hospitalized

(AURORA, Ind.) – Two kids are hospitalized this morning after witnessing their parents die in a crash last night. 

The crash happened around 6 p.m. in the 8600 block of State Road 350 in Aurora. 

Friends of Jordan Walters and his wife, Sierra, tell us that they were both killed in the crash.

Their two kids were also in the vehicle and one was air-cared while the other child was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

A friend of the family said one of those children was alert moments after the crash.

“He said he couldn't wake up mommy and daddy,” they said.

Both children are expected to survive, friends said.

It was a head-on collision and the driver of the other vehicle was also taken to a hospital. The condition of that person is unknown.
