ICA Class of 1976 celebrates class reunion

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – Graduates of Immaculate Conception Academy recently celebrated their 50th Class Reunion.
It was held in conjunction with Oldenburg Academy’s Homecoming and the Class of 1976 gathered for a Mass, luncheon and alumni awards.
1976 class member Lynda Clingermann Ott coordinated the Mass while classmate Sue Siefert organized the Class Reunion.
The reunion welcomed attendees who traveled from as far away as Arizona and New Mexico.
“Sister Rose Marie Weckenmann, OSF and Sister Noella Pointsette who taught the class joined them for the evening of reminiscing and laughter as memories were recalled,” Siefert said.
The classmates were also encouraged to contribute to the Kelly Munchel Memorial Scholarship Fund at OA which was established during their senior year following the sudden death of their Civics instructor and Senior Class Moderator.
“Thanks to the generosity of our class, $1,076 was donated to the scholarship fund to aid future students enrolled at OA,” Siefert said.
