Incidents slow traffic on I-74 over past 24 hours

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Some incidents involving trucks have temporarily slowed traffic on I-74 over the past 24 hours. 

The Greensburg Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire around the 132 mile marker at 7:40 p.m. on Monday.

“Crews worked diligently to extinguish the fire and allow the roadway to be back open as quick as possible,” the department said. 

On Tuesday, a semi overturned in Ripley County near the 151 mile marker on the eastbound side. 

Traffic was slowed down but was able to pass on the right shoulder.
