(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – An Indiana native is among six Air Force members who were killed in an airplane accident during Operation Epic Fury.
The Airmen were on a KC-135 refueling airplane that crashed in western Iraq on Thursday. The Pentagon identified the six casualties on Saturday night.
38-year-old Capt. Seth Koval is from Mooresville, Indiana and was assigned to the 121st Air Refueling Wing out of Columbus, Ohio.
A Go Fund Me fundraiser has been created to support his wife and son.
"Seth was one of the most generous and kind men we have ever met. He was the ultimate husband and dad. Both his wife and son adored him, and he loved them both so well. Seth loved Jesus and lived a life that displayed that faith," the fundraiser stated.
