INDOT to close part of S.R. 46 in West Harrison until mid-April

Closure will be at Higher Ground Conference Center in West Harrison

(WEST HARRISON, Ind.) – A portion of State Road 46 in West Harrison is scheduled to be closed for about a month. 

Road crews will be conducting a slide correction project between Higher Ground Lane and Covered Bridge Lane. 

It is scheduled to close on March 3 and the project is expected to last until mid-April. 

The official detour route will have drivers taking State Road 1 to I-74 to U.S. 52. 

This $1.9M project is led by the Indiana Department of Transportation and it will be conducted by Dave O’ Mara.
