(MILAN, Ind.) – Indiana University’s National Championship trophy was at Milan High School on Friday.
The school welcomed 1995 graduate Marcy Simpson to share her journey with students.
Simpson currently serves as the chief financial officer for IU Athletics.
“She delivered a powerful message about believing in yourself, surrounding yourself with positive influences, and practicing gratitude,” Milan Schools stated.

As part of her visit, she brought the football trophy to the school. It was placed next to Milan’s 1954 basketball trophy as well.
Simpson was also recently given the 2026 Milan Alumni Award and you can read that story here.
