2 Jennings Co. fire stations hosting community meals today

(SCIPIO, Ind.) – The Lenten season may be over but there’s still an opportunity to enjoy a fish fry on Saturday. 

Scipio-Geneva Fire Department is hosting their fish fry until 7 p.m. tonight.

They are offering fish or tenderloin sandwiches, sides, drinks and desserts. 

Dine-in, carry out and call-in orders at (812) 392-2711 are all available. 

Proceeds support the rural Jennings County fire department.

It is taking place at 6815 N County Rd 575 West in Scipio.

Pork Chop Dinner tonight

The Montgomery Marion Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a pork chop dinner tonight a well.

It will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Community Center on Commiskey Pike.

"Every meal helps support your local firefighters — and not just for fires. We respond to medical calls, accidents, and emergencies of all kinds. Your support helps us stay ready to serve our community 24/7," the department said.
