Kansas City first responders looking for Good Samaritan

(KANSAS CITY) – The Kansas City Fire Department is hoping to identify an individual who saved a life. 

A van struck a bridge pillar and caught fire on I-435 at State Avenue on March 5. 

A Good Samaritan pulled the driver from the burning vehicle and firefighters say “their actions undoubtedly saved that person’s life.”

That person ended up leaving the scene before first responders could get their name. 

“We are asking for the community’s help in identifying this person so we can properly thank them for their life-saving actions. Please help us find them,” the Kansas City Fire Department said.
