Kat Von D's black tulip field nearly in full bloom

(VEVAY, Ind.) - Kat Von D’s black tulip field is nearly in full bloom. 

There are 15,000 black tulips that are in front of her home and the public is welcome to stop by the field. 

Kat Von D says she expects all 15,000 tulips will be in full bloom this weekend. 

“Tulips typically only bloom for about two weeks, I think the best days to come and see the field are April 6-12,” Kat Von D said.

Visitors are asked to not pick any of the flowers and also to not go close to the house. 

She added that people who want to do photo shoots are welcome to do so at the field. 

Kat Von D rose to fame as a tattoo artist on LA Ink. She is also a model, musician, entrepreneur and TV personality. She and her family moved from California to Vevay in 2020.
