Know a teen musician? SEIMA accepting applications for annual grant

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – Do you know a local teenager who has a passion for music?

The Southeastern Indiana Musician's Association (SEIMA) has an annual grant program that helps young musicians follow their dreams.

Eligible applicants must be between 14 and 19-years old and live in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley or Switzerland counties.

SEIMA will be given $2,000 to the top winners and $350 cash awards to all second place finishers this year.

Participants will have to fill out an application and also submit a video performance. Cell phone video works just fine and it can be loaded to Youtube or another sharable video platform. Be sure to send the link with the application.

The deadline to apply for the SEIMA grant is March 31.

Since 2022 The SEIMA Project has awarded over $12,000 to young musicians in the community and is proud to invest in the future of music in Southeast Indiana.
