Laurel Fire acquires former Brookville ladder truck

(LAUREL, Ind.) – The Laurel Volunteer Fire Department is adding an apparatus to their fleet. 

A ladder truck that has been owned by Brookville Fire for the past decade will now reside in Laurel. 

Laurel firefighters credits the partnership between the two agencies for the new addition.

“Opportunities like this are only possible through cooperation, trust, and shared commitment among fire departments,” the fire department said. 

The new ladder truck will allow Laurel Fire to increase its capabilities of fighting fires in the community.
