Laurel man accused of having meth

(LAUREL, Ind.) – A Laurel man was arrested on meth charges during a police investigation.
Franklin County deputies were working with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department to locate a wanted person on Neff Street in Laurel earlier today.
47-year-old Jeffrey Horn was found at the house and he allegedly had illegal substances that deputies saw.
Horn was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Syringe, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
“Horn was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Franklin County Security Center,” the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office stated.
The investigation was conducted by Franklin County Sergeant Kyle Hartman with assistance from Deputy Alex VanWinkle and Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies Joe Becker and Nick Mustin.
