Lawrenceburg athlete in national competition

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg competitive cheerleader, dancer and gymnast is competing in a national contest.

11-year-old Danielle Clements is a Quarter Finalist in the Colossal Youth Athlete of Year contest.

The winner of the online competition will be featured in Russell Wilson’s 3BRAND national advertising campaign on CBS and Sports Illustrated and will also receive $25,000.

Clements is part of Prodigy Athletics in Greendale and her team secured a Level 4 Gold Medal during a competition in Iowa this summer.

Danielle loves the sport because she can learn new skills, new dances, new stunts and enjoys working with her team.  She has also overcome multiple injuries and continues to work hard and push herself.

She is inspired by her cousin and aunt who have both taught her important skills in the sports.

She has just been named a Quarter Finalist in the Colossal Youth Athlete of the Year competition.

You can vote for Danielle to advance to the Semi-Finals by clicking this link before 8 p.m. on October 8.
