(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A Lawrenceburg husband and father is hoping someone in the community can be a match.
45-year--old Chris Adams is seeking a living kidney donor in an effort to save his life.
“I spend 60 hours each week on dialysis and experience extreme fatigue, a lack of energy, and most days just feel like napping,” Adams said.
A blood type will be considered and there is not cost at all as it is handled by the recipient’s insurance. The donor evaluation process begins with a simple phone call.
Adams and his wife have two boys that are aged 16 and 9.
“A new kidney will give me the opportunity to see my children grow up, get married, and start their own families,” Adams said.
Call The Christ Hospital at (513) 585-1427 to begin the process. You can follow Chris’ journey by clicking here.
