(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – The Lawrenceburg Tigers Esports team is going back to the state finals!
This marks the fourth year that the program has produced state finalists.
The varsity League of Legends team consists of Andrew Haupert, Dylan Lannan, Evan Woulms, Noah Bailey, and Oliver Maddux.
They will battle Westfield for the state championship on April 25.
“They’ll be supported by fellow competitors from our Super Smash Bros., Marvel Rivals, Mario Kart, and iRacing teams, along with Directors Carrie Stegemiller and Katelyn Davidson and Coach Tyler Dishneau,” the school stated.
Lawrenceburg student Pablo Nunez will also be recognized for finishing 4th in the state in iRacing.
“With college recruiters on site and multiple LHS teams supporting, it’s a big day for Tiger esports,” the school added.
