Lawrenceburg Schools enter partnership with Cincinnati Marlins

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg Schools have entered into a partnership with the Cincinnati Marlins swimming club.

The partnership will provide enhanced coaching and training opportunities for Lawrenceburg swimmers while boosting access to competitive swimming in the area.

The collaboration is intended to strengthen the development of swimmers at all levels while creating pathways for athletes who want to grow their skills, compete at a higher level, and remain connected to swimming beyond the high school season.

“This partnership represents an exciting opportunity for our swimmers and for the entire Lawrenceburg community. By working with the Cincinnati Marlins, we can provide our athletes with additional coaching and training while creating more opportunities for young swimmers to discover and enjoy the sport,” said Lawrenceburg athletic director Ryan Knigga.

The Cincinnati Marlins is a USA Swimming Silver Medal club that has a long-standing commitment to athlete development and competitive swimming.

Lawrenceburg swim coach Dean Fox says the partnership will also make swimming more accessible in the community and will hopefully inspire more to get involved in the sport and develop life-saving skills.

“This is about more than just swimming faster. It’s about giving young athletes access to great coaching, positive mentors, and opportunities to challenge themselves. We’re thrilled about what this partnership can mean for Lawrenceburg swimmers and families,” Fox said.
