Lawrenceburg Spotlight: Billie Co.

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A downtown Lawrenceburg shop is an ideal destination for vintage and sustainable clothing. 

Billie Co. is owned by Kimmy Henry and is located at 31 East High Street. The idea for the store came through her family’s love for thrift shopping. 

In 2021, Kimmy took a leap of faith and opened a shop in the downtown area. She named it Billie Co. in honor of her grandmother. 

The store quickly grew and a few years later she discovered a larger space where the business is currently located. 

Billie Co. prides itself on being a fun, funky, hip shop where vintage meets modern. 

All items are hand-selected and they put an emphasis on supporting local designers and small businesses.

“The heart and soul of Billie Co. is the vintage clothing and sustainability, but we do have a mixture as we know that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea,” Henry said. 

They also offer older name brand items, organic skincare products, jewelry and other unique hand-selected accessories. 

Kimmy’s shop is located along the exact same streets that she grew up on as a child. 

“My favorite part of Billie Co. is the connections that are made both through customers as well people we partner with,” Kimmy explained. 

She also enjoys supporting the community through donating to Lawrenceburg Schools fundraisers and other events. 

Billie Co. is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Fridays from 12-5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
