Lawrenceburg swimmer among top freshman in the state

(INDIANAPOLIS) – A Lawrenceburg freshman had a strong performance at the IHSAA State Swimming Finals on Saturday. 

Erin Burgess competed in the 100-yard breaststroke and finished 13th overall, which was the highest ranked freshman in the state. 

It caps off a memorable first year of high school swimming for Burgess. 

She was named a conference and sectional champion and also set three school swimming records this season.
