Lee's RV puts focus on transparency, customer experience

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Lee’s RV in Batesville is a privately-owned dealership that prioritizes the customer experience. 

Tom Muto took ownership of Lee's RV in 2018 and is passionate about being accessible to all customers. 

“This is not like dealing with a big box store. Whether a customer is happy or frustrated, we are easy to get a hold of whether that is a sales manager or myself. We all live in this community and are serving people who live here too,” Muto said. 

Lee’s RV specializes in towable units, toy haulers and especially travel trailers. They also offer financing, accept trade-ins, do consignments, service RV’s and sell parts. 

What sets Lee’s RV apart from the other dealerships is their focus on transparency and honesty.

“We like to provide value to the customer in the form of educating them on camping. Having an RV isn’t like a hotel and there are some growing pains for those just beginning to camp so we try to provide as much information as possible before they go out there,” Muto said. 

Muto added that Lee’s RV isn’t always going to be the cheapest option, but there is good reason for that. 

They are focused on the highest quality, don’t buy in bulk, and also don’t cut corners on accessories. 

“Purchasing an RV is a large investment and we want people to know that we stand behind these products and will be there if anything goes wrong,” he said.

He added, “These RV’s are going down the road sometimes at 70 miles-per-hour and hit potholes. No matter where you buy from, damage can happen and things may break."

Muto reiterated that if an issue ever arises, they address it head-on and find a solution as soon as possible.

"There is no corporate ladder to get an answer. Whether it is me, a service manager or sales manager, you will get the same truthful answer from anyone you talk with here," he said.
