Lemonade stand in memory of Milan girl who passed from brain cancer

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – A lemonade stand in Versailles this weekend will be held in memory of a young girl from Milan.

Kasey McAdams was just 5-years-old when she passed away from brain cancer in 2016.

She’s remembered for her big smile, her to-the-point attitude, and for loving the Bengals.

Earlier this week, she would have celebrated her 16th birthday on August 24.

Her family has organized a lemonade stand in honor and the proceedsw ill support other children who are facing a similar battle.

It will be held at the Versailles IGA from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 29.

The family has partnered with the nationwide nonprofit  ‘Alex’s Lemonade Stand’ which raises funds for childhood cancer research, awareness and support.

The McAdams family is hoping to have a big turnout from the community to support Kasey as well as other children who are facing cancer.
