Litter clean-up on State Line Road in Lawrenceburg set for May 3

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Volunteers are needed for a litter clean-up day in Dearborn County next month.
The roadside clean-up will take place on State Line Hill and will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 3.
Volunteers will meet at 8:30 at Sugar Ridge Golf Club for instructions and supplies.
The portion of State Line Road between the 2 entrances to Augusta Drive will be closed from 9 a.m.-12 noon to ensure the safety of volunteers. Augusta Drive will be the detour.
This event is organized by the Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative (DCALI) which is now in its tenth year.
The most recent clean-up, held April 12 at Sand Run in Bright, was a considered a success.
Other DCALI clean-ups scheduled so far for 2025 are May 10, York Ridge Hill; June 14, Cole Lane; Sept. 13, Georgetown Road.
