Local filmmaker to premier movie in Osgood

Film also features local actors

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – A locally-produced film will premier in Osgood on Sunday.

Tristan Bennett is an independent filmmaker who wrote, directed and produced “The Ugly Duckling: Wild Goose Chase”. 

The entire film was shot in places such as Brum Woods in Batesville, Ludlow Hill Park in Lawrenceburg and the Charles Davis Mansion in Shelbyville. 

The film stars locals such as Ethan Hopper, Jeffrey Cook, Tristan Bennett, Ryan Smith, Jamie Morgan, Samuel Bennett, Corden Simmonds, Jadon White and Jacob Steffen.

Bennett is releasing the film as a sequel to “The Ugly Duckling” which is available for free on Youtube. 

In this hilarious sequel, Duck and Oliver are on the run from a powerful Wizard and the Police. The unlikely duo must track down a magical artifact before it's too late.

“The Ugly Ducking: Wild Goose Chase” will premier at The Damm Theater at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 19.
