Local man accused of sexual relations with two minors

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A 21-year-old is accused of having sexual relations with two minor females. 

Braiden Phillips, of Milan, has been charged in Dearborn County with Child Molesting and Sexual Misconduct with a Minor. 

ISP investigators said the incidents occurred when one victim was 15-years-old and the other was 13-years-old. 

Phillips allegedly connected with both of them through social media. 

According to court documents, the first incident involved the 13-year-old and took place last summer. Investigators say it was initiated on Snapchat where illicit photos were exchanged prior to Phillips and the victim allegedly having intercourse twice. 

The second incident involving the 15-year-old happened this May and it was initiated on Instagram, police said. 

Phillips allegedly provided the victim with a cellphone and went to her home twice, with the second time allegedly involving sexual relations. 

Court documents also show that the parents of both victims cooperated with investigators. 

Phillips was arrested Tuesday and had bond set at $1,000,000 during an initial hearing Wednesday.
