Local Olympian speaks with Bright fourth graders

(BRIGHT, Ind.) – Local Olympian Nick Goepper took some time to meet with local students. 

The three-time medalist spoke with fourth graders at Bright Elementary School last week. 

The school organized a Google Meet and described the energy as electric. 

“Some of our students had the chance to interview him while the rest of the class watched it all unfold in real time,” the school stated. 

Goepper recently competed in the Winter Olympics in Italy and nearly earned a medal before crashing in his final run. 

The 31-year-old has won slopestyle medals in 2014, 2018 and 2022.
