Local police arrest wanted Minnesota man

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – Local authorities have arrested a Minnesota man who was wanted for solicitation of a minor.

34-year-old Brandon Cameron has been listed as a “sexually violent predator” and the victim was a 13-year-old girl from St. Paul, Minnesota. 

Cameron had allegedly removed an electronic monitoring bracelet and considered a fugitive from justice. 

The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served an arrest warrant and Cameron was arrested on Thursday. 

“This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of local and federal law enforcement agencies to protect communities by apprehending individuals who pose risks to public safety,” the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office said.
