Local volleyball club wins tournament in Louisville

(LOUISVILLE, Ind.) – A local volleyball club had a successful weekend in Kentucky!

The SEIVB 16-Thunder Elite was one of 1,500 teams from across the country who competed in the UA Bluegrass Tournament in Louisville. 

The team went 6-1 and on Sunday they advanced to the Gold Pool Play where they won the 16 Club Red Division. 

The team is coached by Cassie Laker and Jody Thomas and players include Ava Canida, Madelyn Dierckman, Audra Gehl, Reagan Hixson, Maggie Hornbach, Caroline McMillian, Layna Moorman, MaKenna Ripperger and Ali Wells.
